Completion Of Project: Prefab Piping and Installation on-site for two Production Platforms

Completion of the project
A well-known Dutch construction Company has commissioned SEW Energy for fabrication of the piping and deliver it to their yard. On location, SEW installed the piping in the platforms and jacket/ monopile. Where necessary, field welds have been performed on site.
The project includes:
- Prefab pipework (2129 connections welded) in the SEW workshop
- These spools ranged from 2″ to 24″ and from carbon steel to duplex
- Installation of prefab pipework (399 welds performed in the field) in the platforms
- Installed 225 ctuated and non-actuated valves for the project (largest was 24″)
- Torqued a total of 751 flanges at both platforms
- Installed risers in the jacket (9 risers installed in the diameters 3″, 6″, 8″, 10″, 12″ and 24″)
- And both platforms have been tested at high pressure with liquid and nitrogen
