Why SEW Energy: Due to the relationship with the customer

Short project summary:
A well-known Dutch construction Company has commissioned SEW Energy for fabrication of the piping and deliver it to their yard. On location, SEW installed the piping in the platforms and jacket/ monopile. Where necessary, field welds have been performed on site.

The project includes:

• Prefab pipework (2129 connections welded) in the SEW workshop
• These spools ranged from 2″ to 24″ and from carbon steel to duplex
• Installation of prefab pipework (399 welds performed in the field) in the platforms
• Installed 225 ctuated and non-actuated valves for the project (largest was 24″)
• Torqued a total of 751 flanges at both platforms
• Installed risers in the jacket (9 risers installed in the diameters 3″, 6″, 8″, 10″, 12″ and 24″)
• And both platforms have been tested at high pressure with liquid and nitrogen

Project Management: SEW Energy Project team prepared the work and provided guidance during the project

Both platforms are installed at their final offshore location and being prepared for riser connections and well hook-up later this year.
