Why SEW Energy: At the request of the customer due to our experience

Short project summary:
A Dutch Operator was going to electrify a platform. In order getting the electric cable safely from the seabed to the platform, they mounted a so-called J-Tube on one of the legs of the platform. SEW Energy made this J-Tube and also Invented/ fabricated the special installation tool.

The project includes:

• Fitting and welding the J-Tube;
• Making a special installation tool to mount the clamps on the platform offshore;
• Bending the pipe (outsourced);
• Blasting and Coating (outsourced).

Project Management: SEW Energy Project team prepared the work and managed the project.
