Electrical and Instrumentation

SEW Energy has its own, in-house, Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) department that can work directly for the customer or together with the other disciplines within SEW Energy. We are one of the few in the industry that can design and build complete modules in-house. What can SEW Energy’s E&I department do for you:

Engineering and services by electrical, instrumentation specialists
Project based E&I activities for oil and gas production systems/locations.

• Detailed design of industrial installations / controls including calculations;
• Work preparation, procurement of materials and quality assurance;
• Construction work (mechanics, technicians and supervisors);
• Instrument fitting, measuring, pneumatic and hydraulic lines;
• Electrical and control panel construction;
• Inspection and commissioning activities;
• Mains voltage quality (Power Quality) analysis and solutions;
• Calibration of new and existing installations;
• Maintenance (preventive and corrective) and troubleshooting.

Skilled and qualified
SEW Energy specialists are competent/ and skilled/ with relevant experience, and fully certified (including NOGEPA 05.A/B / OPITO incl. HUET, ATEX, VCA, IECEx 05).

Special tools and equipment
SEW Energy can provide all special tools and equipment needed to conduct the requested activities. WeFor our designs we use software tools such as Eplan, Intelec, SPI (Intools), AutoCAD and M-files with a full range of document templates. We have available special instrument fitting tools, metalworking tools, cable tools, inspection & test tools, etc. for the construction of industrial installations.
